Nepal advance to final of CAVA U-20 Men's Volleyball Championship

Nepal secured their place in the final of the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) U-20 Men's Championship after defeating Turkmenistan in the final league stage match.
In a dominant performance held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Friday, Nepal triumphed over Turkmenistan in straight sets, winning 3-0. The Nepali team claimed the first set 25-14, the second 25-21, and sealed the victory by taking the final set 25-20.
With this win, Nepal accumulated 10 points from five matches. Earlier in the tournament, Nepal achieved straight-set victories (3-0) over Sri Lanka and the Maldives, but suffered losses against Uzbekistan (3-1) and Kyrgyzstan (3-2).
Turkmenistan also ended the league stage with 10 points from five matches, having defeated the Maldives and Kyrgyzstan by 3-0 and Sri Lanka by 3-1, but lost to Uzbekistan 3-1.
Nepal will now face Uzbekistan in the final on Saturday, aiming to claim the championship title.
