U-18 Asian Rugby will be a success, Dhalai says

Asia Rugby President Qais Al Dhalai on Thursday expressed confidence that Nepal will host the U-18 Asian Rugby Sevens Championship successfully.
Dhalai arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday for the rugby championship, which is set to be held at the Dasharath Stadium on December 10–11.
President Dhalai thanked Nepal for organising the rugby championship and added, “The event would become a success.”
This will be the first occasion Nepal is hosting an international rugby championship. Eight Asian countries—Nepal, India, China, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Bangladesh and the UAE—will participate in the event.
Member Secretary of National Sports Council Tanklal Ghising, who is also an EXCO member of Asia Rugby, and Acting President of Nepal Rugby Association Deepak Devkota, among others, welcomed President Dhalai at the VIP arrivals of Tribhuvan International Airport.
The two-day Championship is being organised by Asia Rugby under the management of Nepal Rugby Association.
Dhalai also expressed his commitment that Nepal will get the opportunity to host more international competitions in the coming days.
