Pun wins Hyundai Open Golf Tournament
Altogether 155 golfers participated in the event organised by Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, the sole authorised distributor of Hyundai Cars in Nepal.

Krishna Pun clinched the Hyundai Open Golf Tournament at the Gokarna Golf Club in Kathmandu on Saturday.
Pun, the 11 handicap player, carded 43 stableford points to win the corporate tournament on count back after he was tied with Babu Poudel. Pun scored 21 points on the back nine against 20 points of the runner-up Poudel. Defending champion Ashok Singh came third after he scored 42 points in the event played under stableford 3/4 handicap format.
Tashi Dong won the best gross award on count back as he was tied with Tashi Tshiring and Wangchen Dhondup on 36 points. But Dong had scored 19 points on the back nine against 17 points each scored by Tshiring and Dhondup. Dhondup, however, won closest to the pin award.
Narendra Rawal walked away with the winners' trophy of senior golfers aged 60 and above with 39 points, finishing a point ahead of Bhairaja Panday. Prativa Rai won the women's category title on 38 points finishing ahead of Kashmira Shah.
Shyam Simkhada was the winner of the Hyundai car owner's category. Dawa J Sherpa won the longest drive award and Norbu Sherpa walked away with most birdies award for making five birdies.

South Korean Ambassador to Nepal Park Chong Suk and Laxmi Group Chairman Ganesh Bahadur Shrestha, among others, gave away the prizes to winners.
