Qatar Airways has renewed the title sponsorship deal for the Martyrs Memorial 'A' Division League, which begins Friday at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar.

As the title sponsor, Qatar Airways will provide $150,000 to the football governing body All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). Qatar Airways Nepal’s country manager Mohamed El Emam and ANFA President Karma Tsering Sherpa exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding to this effect.

The Airways had also sponsored the last edition of the league that took place from December 14, 2019 to February 15, 2020.

As per the deal, Qatar Airways logo will be printed on jerseys of all 14 teams of the league, among other things.The event will also be branded as Qatar Airways Martyrs Memorial 'A' Division League. Friends Club will take on Satdobato Youth Club in the opening match at Dasharath Stadium on Friday.
