Kantipur Television will broadcast live the matches of the Martyrs Memorial 'A' Division League set to begin on November 19 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.
The football governing body All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and Kantipur Television on Thursday struck a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that provides the television live broadcasting rights for a year. ANFA general secretary Indraman Tuladhar and Television's marketing manager Gauri Dahala penned the deal.
ANFA is planning to host the matches at four different venues on weekends — Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The television will primarily cover the matches played at the Dasharath Stadium — the main venue. Friends Club will vie with newly promoted Satdobato Youth Club in the curtain raiser on November 19.
The bottom two teams in the 14-team round robin league will be relegated at the end of the tournament.
