Kathmandu Gorkhas and Shikhar Insurance have extended their partnership for the third consecutive season of the Nepal Premier League.
Issuing a press statement on Thursday, the Gorkhas informed that Shikhar Insurance will be their ‘golden partner’. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

“We cannot overlook the support of Shikhar Insurance in the past two seasons that helped Kathmandu Gorkhas get the success it could,” Sirohiya said. “Our players can play without any hesitation with Shikhar Insurance backing us.”
Kathmandu Gorkhas, with Karan KC as the marquee, had retained Bhim Sharki, Shahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Adil Ansari and Santosh Yadav for the third season. The team brought Sahil Patel, Sonu Devkota, Suryanshu Koiral, Prashiddha Jaishi, Dayanand Mandal, Krishna Paudel and Dev Shah.
