Nepali swimmer Sofia Shah failed to match her own record in women’s 50m freestyle heats in the World Swimming Championship in Hungary on Saturday. Shah clocked 29.75 second which was .02 seconds behind her own record. She finished 69th among 87 participants in the event and crashed out from heats. Sarah Sjoestroem of Sweden secured top position in the heats completing the distance in 24.08s.
