Nepal’s challenge in the Jaya Raya Badminton Asia Junior Championships in Bintara, Indonesia ended on Thursday with Rasila Maharjan’s defeat in the second round match of the girls’ singles. Rasila lost to Thet Thar Thuzar of Myanmar 21-12, 21-8.
Along with Rasila, Praful Maharjan, Pabin Lingthen and Rupesh Maharjan had entered the second round but all the three boys shuttlers had lost their games.
Nepal had also lost the mixed, girls’ and boys’ doubles events on Wednesday.
