On Tuesday, Dhoni also won an interim order from the court, restraining the Zee group from telecasting interviews or news pertaining to certain match-fixing allegations against him.
Denying his involvement in any such unlawful activities, Dhoni said his hard-earned reputation was under stake and his name was being sullied by unverified reports.
Admitting his Rs 100-crore suit on Tuesday, a single judge of the Madras high court restrained Zee group channels from telecasting any interview or discussion on Dhoni and the alleged scandal.
