Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Govinda Panthi has taken an early lead in Gulmi-2 with 1,384 votes.
Nepali Congress candidate Bhuwan Prasad Shrestha is close behind with 1,325 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Gokarnaraj Bista has secured 1,256 votes.
Nepali Communist Party candidate Shreeram Mahat has received 466 votes, and Lal Bahadur Thapa Chhetri of the Rastriya Janamorcha has secured 24 votes.
