A ten-year-old girl died after being hit by a motorcycle in Dang on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as a resident of Lamahi Municipality-1.

According to the Ward Police Office, the motorcycle en route to Bhalubang from Lamahi hit her while she was crossing the road at Narti last night.

She succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Lamahi Hospital, according to the police.

The motorcyclist, 29, of Gadhawa Rural Municipality-2, also sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal.
