Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Ashika Tamang has maintained a lead in Dhading-1 as vote counting continues following Thursday’s parliamentary elections.
According to the latest count, Tamang has secured 4,375 votes. CPN-UML candidate Bhumi Prasad Tripathi is in second place with 2,094 votes.
Nepali Congress candidate Krishna Rijal has received 1,186 votes, while Rajendra Prasad Pandey of the Nepali Communist Party has secured 1,124 votes.
Suman Tamang of the Mongol National Organisation has received 49 votes.
