Fire destroys house in Banepa, property worth Rs1.2 million gutted
The blaze triggered by electrical short circuit; no casualties reported.

Kavre
A fire broke out at a house in ward 4 of Banepa Municipality in Kavre district in the early hours of Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghal of the District Police Office, Kavre, the blaze started at around 1:20am due to an electrical short circuit at a two-storey mud-and-brick house with corrugated zinc sheets roof belonging to Rameshwar Dahal of Aagal.
Police reached the site shortly after being informed, and with the help of locals, brought the fire under control by around 2:30am.
The fire destroyed the house along with stored grains, utensils, clothes, and other belongings, causing an estimated loss of around Rs1.2 million. No human or livestock casualties were reported, police said.
