Four people were injured when an Indian-registered jeep crashed in Sisneri, Makwanpur, on Monday morning.
The vehicle, carrying 17 passengers, was en route from Kathmandu to Uttar Pradesh, India, when it met with an accident at Dharakhola in ward 3 of Indrasarowar Rural Municipality.
According to police, the Uttar Pradesh-registered jeep suffered a brake failure at a turn, leading to the crash.
A team from the Area Police Office, Sisneri, reached the scene immediately. The injured were taken to Hetauda for treatment with assistance from police and locals, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
