Hetauda
Two individuals lost their lives in separate incidents in Hetauda on Friday.
Janak Rai, 68, of Hetauda-6, succumbed to injuries after being struck by an auto-rickshaw at Chaugadha along the Kanti Lokpath. He was rushed to a hospital but died during treatment. Police have detained the rickshaw driver, Shankar Karki, 31, for investigation.
In another incident, Mangal Singh Chepang, 38, of Manahari Rural Municipality-8, was electrocuted by a fallen 11,000-volt high-tension wire. He died on the spot.
Indra Maya Magar, 40, also sustained minor injuries after coming into contact with the live wire. She is reportedly in stable condition.
