One dead in road accident in Kavre

A man died in an accident at Panauti Municipality Ward 5 along the Banepa-Panauti inner road section on Tuesday night.
According to Chief Superintendent of Police Gyan Bahadur Khadka, Krishna Kunwar,42, of Panauti Municipality Ward 2, died in the accident.
Kunwar was en route to Panauti from Banepa when his scooter lost control and was hit by a motorcycle heading towards Banepa from the opposite direction.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Banepa-based Scheer Memorial Hospital, the police said.
The motorcycle rider Rijan Suwal,21, of Dhulikhel Municipality Ward 4 is in police custody. Police are investigating for further details.
