A septuagenarian man with visual-impairment died after he fell off the Old Medical College Teaching Hospital building in Bharatpur on Thursday.
According to the District Police Office in Chitwan, 76-year-old Bal Bahadur Khamcha Magar from ward 2 of Hupsekot Rural Municipality in Nawalparasi East died after he fell off the third floor of the hospital building.
Magar, a cancer patient, was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Beshraj Rijal said that the victim was seriously injured after the fall and died in the course of treatment.
Meanwhile, a man was found dead on the stairs of the Gosaisthan tower in Banepa Municipality-6 in the Kavre district.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Laldhwaj Subedi, the man in his mid-20s was found dead around 6:30am on Thursday.
