A scooter rider died after being hit by a tipper in Ramatar of Manahari Rural Municipality-7 on Tuesday.

According to the police, 47-year-old Dil Bahadur Tandon Chhetri had sustained serious injuries after the vehicle crashed into the two-wheeler he was riding.

Chhetri was rushed to the Chitwan Medical College where he died in the course of treatment on Tuesday night, Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Bhandari.
