Barhabise Municipal Hospital, located in ward 9 of Barhabise Municipality, has been without doctors for the past two weeks.
According to Rajkumar Paudel, head of the health unit of the municipality, the hospital is visited by people not only from the municipality but also from Bhotekoshi and Tripurasundari municipalities. Currently, the patients are returning home without treatment.
This situation arose after all four doctors of the hospital left at once citing frequent assaults on medics by local residents and patients' family members several times and they were feeling unsafe here, Paudel said.
