A traffic police officer, who was injured after being hit by a bus in Koteshwar last week, died while undergoing treatment on Sunday.
Senior Superintendent of Police Jeevan Kumar Shrestha, information officer of Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, said Sub Inspector Top Bahadur Khatri succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the Thapathali-based Annapurna Neuro Hospital.
Bus driver Nawaraj Giri is under police control, he said, adding that an investigation was underway.
