A woman was killed in a road accident in Makwanpur on Wednesday.
Sixty-seven-year-old Thulimaya Nyasur had sustained serious injuries after the bike she was riding pillion met with an accident in Khorbhanjyang of Bakaiya Rural Municipality earlier in the day.
Nyasur was rushed to the Hetauda Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment. Her 32-year-old son Rajkumar Nyasur, who was riding the bike, has sustained minor injuries, police said.
