At least 14 passengers were injured, three of them critically, after a bus met with an accident in Manahari Rural Municipality of Makwanpur district on Thursday afternoon.
According to Makwnapur District Police Office, all the injured have been taken to the Chitwan-based Bharatpur Hospital for treatment.
The bus heading to Hetauda from Chitwan veered off the road and fell some 25 metres down in a field at Manahari-6, Naya Basti along the East-West Highway after the driver lost control over the vehicle.
Locals rescued the passengers.
