Nepali Congress’ Purna Tamang elected HoR member from Ramechhap
Tamang defeated Kailash Prasad Dhungel of CPN-UML by a margin of 16,369 votes.

Ramechhap
Purna Bahadur Tamang of Nepali Congress, a common candidate of the five-party alliance, has secured his seat in the House of Representatives from Ramechhap.
As per the final results, Tamang defeated Kailash Prasad Dhungel of CPN-UML by a margin of 16,369 votes.
Tamang garnered 47,098 votes against Dhungel who bagged 30,729 votes.
Tamang has worked as the Ramechhap district president of the Nepali Congress. He was defeated in the 2017 polls.
