At least 11 injured in Sindhupalchok bus mishap
The bus with 35 passengers on board overturned on the road after its brake failed.

At least 11 passengers got injured when a bus en route to Kathmandu from Dolakha met with an accident at Lishankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality-5 along the Lamosanghu-Mude road section in Sindhupalchok district on Friday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shiva Budhathoki said the bus with 35 passengers on board overturned after its brake failed.
The injured passengers have been taken to Sidhu Sadabahar Hospital in Balefi Rural Municipality for treatment.
“The health condition of the injured is normal. We are conducting an investigation after detaining the bus driver,” said DSP Budhathoki.
A total of 48 people died in ten road accidents in the district in the fiscal year 2019-20. According to District Traffic Police Office, 44 people were killed in three consecutive bus accidents last year.
