Nepali Congress candidate Prakash Man Singh has taken an early lead in the vote count for Kathmandu-1.
As of 11:30am on Monday, Singh, the common candidate of the Congress-led alliance, has received 754 votes.
Rabindra Mishra of Rastriya Prajatantra Party is trailing behind Singh receiving 680 votes.
Kiran Poudel of UML is third in the tally with 496 votes.
Pukar Bam of Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 175 votes and Ramesh Kharel of Nepal Sushashan Party Nepal has got 125 votes so far.
