Kathmandu

Nepali Congress candidate Durlav Thapa has maintained his lead in Bhaktapur-2 as per the latest vote counting update.

As of 1pm on Monday, Thapa has garnered 4,106 votes.

His close competitor Mahesh Basnet of CPN-UML is second with 3,680 votes.

Bhaktpur recorded a voter turnout of 71.97 percent.
