The Kamalamai Municipality in Sindhuli has started a campaign to replace thatched roofs with galvanised zinc sheets. There are around 220 families living in thatched houses in the municipality. Babindralal Majhi, of the municipal office, said galvanised zinc sheets were being distributed to the impoverished families free of charge.
