Mayor of Birgunj Metropolitan City Rajeshman Singh has admitted that he has a second wife as well. 

While recording his statement to a probe committee led by Pushkar Rana, the under secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singh admitted having assisted one Rubina Shrestha to obtain Nepali citizenship. 

According to him, Rubina is his daughter from his second wife. 

A case had been filed at the Parsa district court two months ago against Singh accusing him of posing as a fake father to help Rubina obtain Nepali citizenship.
