A man who went missing on Friday morning on his way to Pathibhara has been found dead on Tuesday.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Limbu at Taplejung District Police Office said 60-year-old Lok Prasad Parajuli of Jhapa was found dead in a forest.
According to Limbu, the body was found in the forest area about 3.5 kilometres north of Matthillo Phendi.
Parajuli, who have travelling to Pathibhara temple along with his family, had entered the forest to answer nature’s call but didn’t return.
Police said the body will be handed over to the family after completing the necessary legal procedures.
A police team under the command of a police inspector has been dispatched to the scene.
