A meeting was held between Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Janamat Party Chairman CK Raut at Prime Minister's Residence in Baluwatar on Thursday.
A statement issued by Janamat Party leader BP Sah following the meeting stated that both the leaders exchanged greetings and discussed the formation of governments in the centre and Madhesh province.
Raut, during the meeting, raised several agendas including the demands of the farmers’ movement, the issue of the citizenship bill and creating employment, after Deuba offered cooperation.
As per the statement, the Janamat Party chair responded that his party is positive on the issue of cooperation given that the party’s demands are addressed by the ruling coalition.
