Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Balendra Shah has widened his lead in Jhapa-5 as vote counting continues.
Shah has secured 6,551 votes so far, maintaining a comfortable lead over CPN-UML chairman K P Sharma Oli, who has received 1,428 votes.
Samir Tamang of the Shram Sanskriti Party is in third place with 381 votes.
Vote counting in the constituency is ongoing.
