Four-year-old girl killed bus accident

A four-year-old girl was killed after being run over by a school bus of Nepal Secondary School in Devchuli Municipality of Nawalparasi district on Sunday.
According to the District Police Office, the victim, Sushma Paswan, was a nursery student at the same school. The incident occurred in ward 1 of Devchuli Municipality.
Police said the child had got off the school bus and was trying to pick up her bag when the vehicle reversed and ran over her.
“The bus driver may not have seen the child while backing the vehicle,” police said, adding that an investigation is underway.
The body has been sent to Devchuli Municipality Hospital for post-mortem examination.
