Dinesh Raj Bhuju appointed MBUST vice-president
Senior academician brings decades of experience in research and higher education.Post Report
Madan Bhandari University of Science and Technology (MBUST) has appointed senior academician Dinesh Raj Bhuju as its Vice President (Academics and Research).
Bhuju, currently associated as an academician with the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), has more than three and a half decades of experience in higher education, research, and science policy in Nepal and abroad.
He also serves as a visiting professor at Northwest University, Xi’an, China, and has held visiting and honorary academic positions at universities in Nepal, Italy, and Poland.
He earned a PhD in Ecology from Chiba University, Japan, and is widely known for his work on environmental science, climate change, and institutional development in higher education. During his career, Bhuju has held several senior positions, including Science Faculty Chief and Division Chief at NAST, Founding Principal of Khwopa College and Khwopa Engineering College, and Academic Coordinator and Executive Director at Mid-West University.
As Vice-president (Academics and Research), Bhuju will be responsible for strengthening academic standards, expanding research activities, and enhancing national and international collaboration at MBUST.
