Gold price up by Rs10,400 per tola

Gold prices rose in the local market on Wednesday, with one tola (11.664 grams) of fine gold increasing by Rs10,400, sharply compared to the previous trading day.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, one tola of fine gold is being traded at Rs295,100, while silver is priced at Rs5,920. On the previous trading day, gold was at Rs284,700 per tola and silver at Rs5,880.
In the international market, one ounce of gold was trading at USD 4,740 and silver at USD 95 according to international price feeds.
Analysts said rising global economic uncertainty, inflation and geopolitical tensions have increased demand for safe‑haven assets, pushing up gold and silver prices.
