A multi-party delegation of Nepali lawmakers visited the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in New Delhi on Monday.
During the visit, BJP’s National Joint General Secretary Shiv Prakash briefed the delegation on the party’s organisational structure, ideological foundation, and its grassroots mobilisation efforts.
The delegation held discussions with several senior BJP figures, including Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta, Lok Sabha member Sanjay Jaiswal, former Uttar Pradesh minister Satish Dwivedi, and Vijay Chauthaiwale, who heads the BJP’s Foreign Affairs Department.
The visit is seen as part of growing efforts to deepen party-to-party and people-to-people ties between Nepal and India.
