Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited the Skywalk Tower in Kamaladi, Kathmandu, on Democracy Day. During his visit, he hoisted Nepal’s national flag at the top of the tower and praised the Skywalk Tower as an attractive destination accessible to people of all ages, from children to the elderly.

Oli was accompanied by his wife, Radhika Shakya, and members of his secretariat. Bishnu Hari Pandey, managing director of the Skywalk Tower, expressed his belief that the Prime Minister’s presence on the public holiday encouraged local tourism businesses.

Standing at a height of 78.5 metres, the Skywalk Tower features a thrilling glass-floored walkway at 65 metres above the ground, offering an adventurous experience.

Visitors to the Skywalk can enjoy views of landmarks such as Rani Pokhari and Ghantaghar (Clock Tower). The 25-storey tower is equipped with two elevators, allowing for efficient movement of up to 45 people at a time.

The most adventurous part of the tower is the 25th floor, where the glass-floored walkway gives the sensation of walking in open space.
