Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident in ward 12 of Byas Municipality, Tanahun, along the Prithvi Highway on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred when a motorcycle heading from Dumre towards Damauli reportedly lost control and crashed into a culvert.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa of the District Police Office, Tanahun, the victims are a mother and her son.

The deceased are identified as 40-year-old Madhumaya Ale from ward 6 of Rishing Municipality and her 19-year-old son, Sandip Ale.
