Police arrested two men in possession of marijuana from Newarpani along the East-West Highway in ward 19 of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City on Monday.
According to the Area Police Office in Newarpani, Nakkal Bahadur Bal, aged 40, of ward 3 of Manahari Rural Municipality and Salman Gurung, aged 19, of ward 11 of Hetauda were detained with 15.6 kg marijuana.
The suspects were heading to Hetauda from Narayanghat on a passenger bus. Detailed investigation is underway, said police.
