Elderly woman killed, five injured in rhino attack

A 70-year-old woman was killed while five others were injured when a rhino attacked them in ward 16 of Ratnanagar Municipality in Chitwan on Tuesday. Police identified the deceased as Krishna Kumari Thapa.
She sustained critical injuries after being attacked by the rhino that entered the settlement. She died in the course of treatment.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bheshraj Rijal, the injured are receiving treatment at various health institutions in Bharatpur.
Thir Bahadur Karki, chief at the Division Forest Office in Bharatpur, shared that the rhino was sent to Chitwan National Park forest.
