Suraj Kunwar, an aviation correspondent for Kantipur Publications, has been honoured by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) during its 26th anniversary. Kunwar, along with six other journalists, received the award for simplifying technical aviation news and informing the public effectively.

Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey presented the awardees with certificates and cash prizes.

The other award recipients included Navin Aryal from Naya Patrika Daily, Achyut Puri from Online Khabar, Basanta Raj Uprety from Bizmandu, Uttam Kapri from Business News, Sabina Karki from Setopati, and Phurpa Sherpa from The Everest News.

CAAN recognised their collective efforts in promoting aviation safety and public awareness through journalism.
