One person was killed and another seriously injured in a road accident at ward 3 of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-3, Bhaktapur, on Thursday morning.
A truck heading to Kathmandu collided with a scooter, seriously injuring Jite Dhaula of Dhaulabasti, Bhaktapur Municipality-5, while his wife, Navina, died at the scene.
Jite is receiving treatment at the Civil Community Hospital in Gatthaghar. The police have impounded the truck and detained its driver, Buddha Bahadur Ghalan of Makawanpur Gadhi Rural Municipality-4.
