Ministry announces Foreign Minister Rana’s visit to China

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Wednesday officially announced that Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, will pay an official visit to the People’s Republic of China from Thursday to Friday at the invitation of Wang Yi, minister for foreign affairs of China.
A Cabinet meeting on Monday approved Rana’s visit. She will be accompanied by some foreign ministry officials during the visit and meet her Chinese counterpart Wang on Friday in Beijing.
According to the MoFA, the discussions will focus on matters of mutual interest and the preparation for the upcoming official visit of Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli to China. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit China from December 2 to 6.
