Four newly appointed ambassadors take oath before President Paudel
The President made the appointments in accordance with Article 282 (1) of the Constitution.Post Report
President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to four newly appointed ambassadors during a ceremony held at the President’s Office on Sunday.
According to the President’s Office, the ambassadors taking the oath included Rita Dhital (Islamic Republic of Pakistan), Ramesh Chandra Paudel (Qatar), Professor Dhan Prasad Pandit (Israel), and Dr Krishna Prasad Oli (People’s Republic of China).
In addition, President Paudel, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, appointed ambassadors to six other nations. Dr Shail Rupakheti was appointed as Nepal’s envoy to Germany, Jang Bahadur Chauhan to the Russian Federation, and Chandra Kumar Ghimire to the United Kingdom. Similarly, Dr Naresh Bikram Dhakal was appointed as ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
The President’s Office also announced non-residential appointments, with Dhan Bahadur Oli taking on the role of ambassador to both Thailand and Cambodia, while serving as a residential envoy to Thailand, and a non-residential ambassador to the Republic of Singapore.
President Paudel made the appointments in accordance with Article 282 (1) of the Constitution.
