Lightning kills two in Chitwan and Nawalparasi

The lightning has claimed one life each in Chitwan and Nawalparasi district on Sunday.
According to the District Administration Office, Chitwan, Saraswati Mahato, 50, an inhabitant of Madi Municipality-1 was struck by lightning at 9 am.
She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Madi Bagauda Hospital at 10:50 am.
Likewise, the bolt killed a man of 35 in Ramgram Municipality-14, Parsawal, Nawalparasi.
The deceased has been identified as Thakurnath Kunwar.
Kunwar, who had been to the field for work was injured by lightning and died on the way to hospital, the district police office of Nawalparasi said.
