Two killed in motorcycle-car collision

Two people were killed when a motorcycle collided with a Tata Sumo car near Dhansar bridge in Chandrapur-4 on Tuesday.
The four-wheeler, with registration number Ba 03-001 Cha 531, was heading east from Dhansar bridge when it struck the motorcycle, registered as Province 1-02-043 Pa 8025, resulting in the deaths of the two individuals on the bike, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Rai.
The deceased have been identified as Tulasi Ojha, a resident of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-15, Sunsari, and Bibas Banskota, a resident of Sundarharaicha Municipality-11, Morang.
"Both victims sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Civil Hospital in Chandranigahapur, where they were pronounced dead by the doctors," Rai confirmed.
Police have recovered the Tata Sumo, but the driver remains at large.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent to the Primary Health Care Centre in Chandranigahpur for post-mortem examinations.
