Omani Foreign Minister Albusaidi arriving in Kathmandu today
He is arriving in Kathmandu on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Foreign Minister Rana.

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, the minister of foreign affairs of Oman, is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on Monday on a two-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart, Arzu Rana.
The two foreign ministers will hold a bilateral meeting and discuss various matters on further strengthening Nepal-Oman relations, a statement issued by Nepal’s foreign ministry said.
During the visit, Albusaidi will pay a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Nepal and the Sultanate of Oman established their diplomatic relations on January 21, 1977.
The two sides exchanged some high-level visits in the past. Late King Birendra and Queen Aishwarya visited Oman in 1986 and the then prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba in 2017.
