Prime Minister Oli gives full shape to Council of Ministers
Inducts two state ministers from Congress and one from Nagarik Unmukti.Post Report
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Friday gave full shape to the Council of Ministers by inducting three ministers of state.
President Ramchandra Paudel appointed three ministers of state on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the Office of the President said in a statement.
Arun Kumar Chaudhary of the Nagarik Unmukti Party has been appointed as minister of state for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Chaudhary is the parliamentary party leader of the Nagarik Unmukti Party.
Likewise, Rupa BK and Purna Bahadur Tamang of the Nepali Congress have been appointed as state ministers at the Ministry of Forest and Environment and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, respectively.
With the latest appointment, the prime minister has given full shape to his Council of Ministers.
The Council of Ministers is now 25-strong, the maximum size allowed by the constitution. The prime minister formed a 22-member Cabinet on July 15, the day he was sworn in.
