A woman died after being struck by lightning in Maulapur Municipality-8, Rautahat, on Thursday.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Eliza Giri, Dharohari Devi, aged 55, died as the lightning struck her while she was planting paddy.
The body was taken to Provincial Hospital in Gaur for postmortem.
