20 injured in Makwanpur bus accident

At least 20 passengers were injured when a bus en route to Nepalgunj from Kakarbhitta met with an accident at Manahari Rural Municipality-9 in Makwanpur district along the East-West Highway on Friday morning.
A total of 11 injured passengers are being treated at a local pharmacy, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Bhandari, who is also the spokesperson for the Makwanpur District Police Office, said nine others were taken to Chitwan for further treatment.
The bus fell into a ditch after losing control, police said, adding that the condition of the injured is stable.
