Foreign ministry announces Japanese foreign minister’s visit
She will be the fourth Japanese foreign minister to come to Nepal since the two countries established diplomatic relations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday formally announced a Nepal visit by Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko.
The Japanese minister is paying an official visit to Nepal on Sunday at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
She will call on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Japanese Minister Kamikawa will also hold bilateral talks with her Nepali counterpart before departing on the same evening.
She will be the fourth Japanese foreign minister to come to Nepal since the two countries established diplomatic relations in September 1956.
This will be the first visit to Nepal by a Japanese foreign minister since 2019 and also the first to the country for Kamikawa.
